How did Wild Rabbit Design come to be?
Wild Rabbit was born from a passion to illustrate and an interest in sharing my
illustrations. Soon without realizing I was selling them and I decided to formalize it.

Drawing has been a part of my life ever since I can remember. It has been my
natural way of expression and my mother always would get upset with me as I could not
hold my coloring back and would paint on anything and everything I came across, from
walls to clothes. I don’t know how she put up with me really. Drawing always kept me
happy as a child and continues to do so.

I was in Mexico City for a couple of weeks last month visiting my friends and family.
This place always inspires me even though it’s my mother land. Mexico is so vibrant and
beautiful, magic happens all the time. This recent trip inspired my next Autumn/Winter
greeting cards collection.
Being environmentally conscious has a positive impact in our business because it
means we are aligned with our beliefs. It is very important for us to do things the right>
way. We think it is important for a business to do everything in its power to be
environmentally friendly even if it compromises some earnings. We like to believe that
most consumers these days prefer to pay a little more for the piece of mind of having a smaller carbon footprint.

If I was an animal today, I would probably be a black bear. Since coming to Canada,
I have had a fascination for bears. I would almost certainly dress up for the occasion
and wear a colourful bow tie.
.
Overall I’m excited to be a part of the Make It community and get to collaborate with
other local artists as well as share my illustrations with a new crowd.
